Ending Suppression Resource Center

At In The Search Bar, I’ve built the definitive library for understanding, healing, and transforming suppression.

Suppression is learned. Which means it can be unlearned. But understanding it—really understanding it—changes so much.

This resource center brings together everything I teach about why we suppress ourselves, how it shows up, and how to return to ourselves, again and again.

What Is Suppression & Self-Abandonment?

Suppression is the act of overriding our inner truth to preserve connection. When suppression becomes a pattern (in other words, when we do it again and again) it turns into self-abandonment: a state of disconnection from ourselves. We learned it early, in moments when our authentic self felt unsafe. We've carried it ever since.

Here's what matters: if we learned it, we can unlearn it.
